Four simple steps
How to use it
Choose “Merge PDFs” for several files, or “Extract / reorder pages” for one file.
For merging, move files up or down. To split a PDF, enter only the pages you want, such as 2-4.
To reorder pages, enter their new order, such as 3,1,2. Select “Process files”.
Download and open the result to check it. To save another separate range, change the page selection and process again.
When should you use this tool?
- You want to send several scanned documents as one PDF.
- You only need a few pages from a long document.
- A scan has pages in the wrong order.
- You need separate PDFs for different page ranges.

A few words, made simple
- Merge
- Combines all pages from your selected files into one PDF, in the order shown.
- Extract or split
- Saves selected pages as a new PDF. Repeat for another range to create another separate file.
- Reorder
- Changes the page order in the new PDF. Pages you do not list are left out.
- Page range
- 2-4 means pages 2, 3 and 4. A comma separates choices: 1,3,5-7.
- Protected or interactive PDF
- A document with encryption, forms or signatures. FIXLY rejects these to avoid promising a result it cannot preserve.
Good to know
PDF editing runs in a dedicated Worker. Encrypted documents, forms, signatures and portfolios are rejected. Page copying may not retain bookmarks, accessibility tags, document-level attachments or every link. It does not validate legal authenticity or remove hidden information. Keep your originals and check the output.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save pages as separate PDFs?
Use Extract / reorder, enter the first page or range and download. Change the selection and process again for the next file. There is no ZIP batch export.
Does extracting delete pages from my original?
No. The original document stays unchanged. The download is a new PDF with the pages you selected.
How do I reverse three pages?
Enter 3,2,1 in Extract / reorder. The new PDF will contain exactly those pages in that order.
Can I split a PDF into individual files?
Extract one page or a range at a time. Repeat with a different selection to create separate PDFs. A ZIP batch export is not provided.
Can FIXLY unlock a password-protected PDF?
No. Encrypted PDFs are rejected. The tool does not ask for passwords or bypass document protection.
