Make it yours
Adds spare information so a scanner can recover some damaged parts. Higher levels make a denser code; they do not repair a broken website.

✓ Static QR. No scheduled expiry. No scan limit from FIXLY.
PNG is easy to share and works in most apps. SVG stays sharp when enlarged and is useful for printing. Neither format contains a watermark.
Everything you enter stays in this browser. Wi-Fi passwords and QR contents are never sent to FIXLY or analytics.

Do QR codes expire?
These static QR codes have no scheduled expiration and no scan limit imposed by FIXLY. Their content is written directly into the image, without our servers or a redirect database. A saved QR can still work if FIXLY closes, provided it stays readable and its information is still valid. A website QR cannot keep its destination online. Changing a URL, email or Wi-Fi password requires generating a new QR; a downloaded static QR cannot be edited remotely.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Generation, downloads and scanning have no FIXLY fees or account requirement.
Will my QR stop working?
FIXLY sets no expiration. A website must stay online, contact details must remain valid, and the image must stay readable.
How many times can it be scanned?
FIXLY imposes no scan limit and does not count scans. Your destination service may have its own limits.
Which file should I download?
PNG is easy to share and works in most apps. SVG stays sharp when enlarged and is useful for printing. Neither format contains a watermark.
Can I print it?
Before distributing copies, scan the downloaded file on a second device. Lighting, print size, contrast and camera quality all affect reading.
Can I change its link later?
No. The address is part of the image. Create and distribute a new QR when the address changes.
Are Wi-Fi passwords private?
They stay in this browser during generation, but anyone with the QR can recover them. Share Wi-Fi codes only with people you want to give access to.
