How to use it
Choose one image and find every private detail you need to hide.
Drag a rectangle over each detail, or use the coordinate fields and “Add cover”.
Use “Undo” or “Redo” to correct your covers. Leave extra space around the edges of the text.
Select “Process files”, check the result closely and download the new PNG.

A few words, made simple
- Permanent cover
- Replaces the covered dots of the exported image with a solid color. The download has no editable cover layers.
- Coordinates
- X moves across the image; Y moves down. Width and height set the size of your rectangle, in pixels.
- PNG
- A picture format that keeps the solid cover pixels without extra JPEG blur.
Good to know
Opaque covers replace the underlying pixels in a new PNG. The editor does not use blur or reversible overlay layers in the download. Only the rectangles you draw are covered. Check every corner, thumbnail and reflected detail. The original file on your device remains unchanged.
Animated images become a single still image. Re-encoding can change colors and image quality. Compression can produce a larger file; compare before downloading.
Frequently asked questions
Does FIXLY erase the original on my device?
No. Only the new downloaded image has the covers. Keep or delete your original separately.
Is covering safer than blurring?
A solid opaque cover replaces the selected pixels. You still need to cover all the private areas and check the downloaded file.
Can I cover text inside a PDF?
This tool covers images only. A screenshot can be processed, but the PDF tools do not redact PDF text.
Can the downloaded covers be removed?
The PNG contains a single raster image. Covered pixels are replaced with a solid color, without editable cover layers.
Does the tool find private information automatically?
No. You select every area yourself. The tool cannot guarantee that you have covered all sensitive content.
